I have ordered from Acorn exclusively before and received great quality notary stamps.  The one I just received was awful.  You couldn't see the state seal at all and the result was a fuzzy and messy stamp that was illegible. When I contacted customer service they told me there was nothing they would do because it was personalized. I ordered a new stamp elsewhere

We keep copies of all of the stamps we make. When we received your email, we pulled the stamped copy and it was a clean, crisp impression.  With slim stamps, you do not press as hard as a self inking stamp as the harder you press the more ink is put on page.  We saw from your order history that you typically ordered self inking stamps which can be pressed down harder.  Your stamp was not eligible for return since it is a personalized product but we did offer to get it back for evaluation as it is under warranty for 180 days from the purchase date. - Acorn Sales
