Acorn's desk personal embosser is an amazingly versatile unit. From adding an authentic touch to important documents to personalizing cards, greetings and letters, it can find a variety of applications in one's day-to-day life. Return Address Embossers are great personalized gifts suitable for showers, weddings, graduations, birthdays and other special occasions. Acorn's personalized desk address embosser can convert plain note paper into distinctive stationery or add a special elegant touch to the back of envelope flaps. Our return address embossing plates measure 2" wide by 1" tall and will accept up to 26 characters per line. The Desk Address embossers are designed to produce impressions with less effort than our basic pocket embossing seals. The desk personal embosser has a sliding locking mechanism which makes for convenient storage. The desk stationery embosser has a black finish and can either be used for one sheet of 20-24lb paper, or up to 40lb paper for light cardstock or lined envelopes. The stationary seal can reach approximately 1-1/2" from the edge of the paper. Acorn's embossing seals and stamps are available at very competitive prices, eliminating the need to worry about costs.

The text displayed below are just examples on our font styles we offer. We recommend no more than 26 characters per line (including spaces) on our address embossers; Longer lines of text will either need to be condensed or shrunk to fit the area which will impact the appearance of your embossed address. Please request a PDF proof prior to production if you have any doubts on how the finished product will look.

If you have a long address that contains over 26 characters we do have the option of splitting these into multiple lines for you. By default we engrave the addresses in 3 lines however we are able to engrave up to 5 lines of text on address embossers. If you desire any special setups like a 4th line or 5th line please make a note within the special instructions on the product. The Maximum area we have to work with on the die plates are 1" Tall by 2" Wide. If you need help trust one our our skilled artists to give you a few examples.

Choosing Seal Orientation

When Ordering your address embosser the orientation refers to what direction on the sheet of paper the embosser comes in from. We have an equal number of requests for Top and Bottom orientation. Embosser Orientation is what direction of the page you would like the insert to imprint from. Choosing a TOP ORIENTATION is for when you want your embossed image to come from the TOP of the page for example in the use of stationary applications. BOTTOM ORIENTATION will imprint from the bottom of the page, for example if you were embossing Envelope Flaps with an Address Embosser - you want to select a Bottom Orientation. For Address Embossers using the 1" x 2" Die Holder Orientation is available only from the Top or Bottom.

Selecting Paper Weight

Our embossers are guaranteed to work on standard 20-24lb weight paper, however many designs will also emboss well on light-weight to medium-weight (40lb) cover stock or cardstock. The designs that will work the best on heavier paper will be smaller, simple designs WITHOUT a lot of text. Layouts that are larger, detailed, or have a lot of text can produce light or uneven impressions on heavier paper - if you require a special application it is strongly suggested that you send in a sample paper or contact us for help. We can not overemphasize to our customers that paper weights, styles and surfaces varies from supplier to supplier and that we can only guarantee the impression on a standard sheet of 20-24lb paper or on unlined envelopes.
