The DBD2 is a double bridge date stamp which features a split bridge that allows for extra figure bands to be added before or after the date. The DBD2 features an area of text both above and below the date and is approximately 1-1/4" x 2" in size. The DBD2 will allow for a maximum of 2 text lines above the dates and 2 text lines below the dates. The Double Bridge Date Stamps are constructed of a heavy duty steel frame and wooden handle which makes this unit very durable. All Double Bridge Date Stamps come with up to 6 years on the bands, plus additional phrases (REC'D, ANS'D, ENT'D, PAID, P.M., A.M.). Custom configurations of Number Bands and Figure Bands are available for the DBD2. I had always wanted to get a date stamp with a split bridge. The customer service personnel of Acorn Sales made sure that I get the right product without any troubles. Moreover, they were friendly enough to offer me a free replacement of the product in case it comes to me in a damaged condition.
