ACORN Sales Company Return Policy and Product Warranties
ACORN Sales Company, Inc. strongly values our relationship with our customers and
offers a warranty and return policy for most products purchased from ACORN Sales
Company, Inc. We are reasonable people and if you buy something from us that
doesn't work out, we want you to return it to us. Nevertheless, we aren't
Target, so please don't take this as an invitation to order things "for trial."
When we receive an order, we assume you want to buy the product, not try it.
You may return any stock items (non-personalized items) within the
applicable return policy period (60 day period), products that you purchased directly from ACORN
Sales Company, Inc. for a credit or a refund of the purchase price paid, less
shipping and handling and applicable restocking fees. Merchandise that has been
customized or personalized may not be returned or exchanged, unless it is a
deemed by ACORN Sales Company, Inc. to be a defective product.
Please note: Personalized Items (Items with your name on it) are NON-RETURNABLE
AND NON-REFUNDABLE once the item has been put through the manufacturing process.
ACORN Sales does not assume liability for misspellings on orders if they are
submitted misspelled.
Electronic Seals or eSeals:
Electronic Seals or eSeals are non-refundable Once they have been
electronically delivered. Please note that we do provide a free electronic seal
with the purchase of a professional stamp (e.g. engineer, architect or other
professional) the free electronic seals are complimentary products included as
‘as-is’ condition product. We do not staff or train individuals for auto-cad or
have the capabilities of providing auto-cad software support.
Personalized
Items are covered directly under the product warranty policies.
Embossing Seals: All embossing seals are guaranteed to leave a crisp and
clean imprint for the lifetime of your seal. Warranty is limited to the repair
or replacement of the defective seal with a seal of identical size and
impression. Should you have an embosser that has stopped making an impression,
please contact our customer service department at (804) 359-0505 for detailed
instructions on how to return your seal.
Rubber Stamps, Self Inking Stamps and Pre-Inked Stamps: All Stamps are
guaranteed for a period of 180 days (6 months) after the purchase of your stamp,
Warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective stamp of
identical size and impression. You must use ink designed for your stamp. Use of
any other ink will ruin your stamp and voids the warranty. If you are not sure
of which ink to use, please call us at 804-359-0505.
Motorized Embossers are under warranty for a period of 1 year after the date of
purchase, and Heavy Duty Electric Embossers are under warranty for a period of 2
years after the date of purchase.
Damages occurred to any stamp or seal products found to be abused or any damages
caused by excessive force and/or misuse will void all warranties. - No
Exceptions!
ACORN Sales Company, Inc. offers a 60 day return policy on any stock item
(non-personalized) from the purchase date. Personalized merchandise unless found
defective will be handled under Product Warranties.
Return Policy is for a 60 day period from your purchase date, any shortages in a
shipment or mistakes on your order we must be notified within a 10 day period of
when you received your order.
If you have a stock product that has not met your specific needs, or would like
to exchange this for another product you must first contact our customer service
department at (804) 359-0505 for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
number.
1. No Returns are accepted without a valid RMA Number, and the product must be
returned within the valid return or warranty policy period.
2. If a product is returned it must be sent in its original packaging, and must
be in like-new or unused condition.
3. A restocking fee may be applicable to open stock products that are found
non-defective.
4. All Shipping related fees (shipping and return shipping fees) are
NON-REFUNDABLE for all products. The shipping fee is a fee that is paid directly
to the shipping company, not to ACORN Sales; therefore all shipping fees are
NON-REFUNDABLE.
5. RMA Number(s) are only valid for 10 days after issued. Your return package
must be received by ACORN Sales within this 10 day period. The RMA Number will
not be re-generated under any circumstances.

Terms of Payment
If you have a prior account set up with ACORN Sales Company, billing is 30
days net. Net 30 Accounts that are past due (over 30 days) will be subject to a
1.5% monthly (18% annual) finance charge. Shipments will be suspended on all
accounts over 60 days. Repeated suspensions will result in future C.O.D.
shipments only. Delinquent accounts over 120 days past due, will be turned over
to collections, where the account holder will be responsible for the goods,
received plus incidental expenses to the collection. No discount on credit card
sales.
Net 30 Accounts
We will extend credit based on our credit investigation. Please supply three
(3) trade references and the name and the account number of the bank handling
your commercial account. Credit applications are available from our accounting
department.
